When a gamer is first introduced to the online gaming community they quickly hear about the concept of clans. A clan is a group of gamers who form a team to take part in online competitions and leagues. In recent years clans have moved away from being large groups of people to becoming small single team clans who play in a single competition.
As a result the difference between a clan and a team has become blurred. This League is a system designed to give a gamer the ability to manage their clans and hopefully to create a clear distinction between the concept of a clan and a team. To do this the system allows the management of an overall clan, and within the clan the clan members can become members of multiple teams.
This allows a clan to be a large group of members who can create multiple teams of different skill levels for different games. Another goal of this functionality is to encourage the development of highly skilled teams. Being able to form a large group of gamers increases the chance of attracting more skilled players and putting them into a single team. The team you play in is no longer a clan made up of the first 5 friends you have convinced to join you, but an organised entity of people with the same skill level
Valve is celebrating their milestone game that has just turned 10 with a special deal. Available on Steam right now is a brand spanking new copy of this classic game for 98 cents, when it normally costs $9.95. If you have never played this revolutionary game, it is the best time to purchase it to play as the infamous Gordon Freeman. It is also a good time to remember where the original Counter-Strike, Team Fortress, Day of Defeat and a lot of other games that were originally mods came from and still surviving today.
If you have not heard the news or got the game yet, it is now available for purchase/download and to bring in a new era in zombie based games. Do not be surprised if the content servers are full or maxing out, everyone is getting it at the same time the world over. At Gamespace we aim to cater for the gaming community as new developments arise and as such some new servers are loaded in for the full version of the game to bring the game to a new level.
Videogames always inspire people to do new things in their lives. Some positive and some of which are very negative. Some people actually make money from video game gimmicks like the shirt that says GTA made me do it. But playing a game, then committing a crime where you end up in jail and finally using an escape sequence from that certain game in real life is quite remarkable. The Turkish prisoner, who has his name withheld, has played some game in the Metal Gear Solid franchise in which Solid Snake evades detection by using a big box measuring 5 by 4 feet to escape his 7 year jail sentence. He effectively mailed himself out of the German prison and is now on the run, maybe using other in game tactics to stay under the radar and to avoid a 6 star rating like in GTA.
Have you heard anything similar where a trick in game works just as well in real life?

There is 7 days worth of play before the full game comes out, so you better get playing to have a final test. Who knows, you may be able to play as an infected zombie, load user maps and more quirks as some savvy players have found. Gamespace has a dedicated forum up for this game and quite a few servers as well to play online, as found here.
The recently released game with a difference is having problems with user content being deleted by moderators for fear of infringing copyright. With some grey areas in some level creations, people are asking if its worth deleting these levels since they are not being sold, cannot be used elsewhere and if it is overboard, or preemptive action should be taken to prevent the games publisher to have futue legal issues. With such levels as Pacman, Batman and Scrubs that have been deleted, people are not even being warned or told why this action has been taken, all because a certain character has been added or a style resembles something else too much.
What is your stance on these issues and will it affect future games of this style?
